First, let me say that I have a lot of fear, anxiety and trust issues at the dentist. I have had some bad experiences in the past with both pain and dentists who have told me I needed procedures I didn’t. I have been going to Dr. Benevent now for several years and I genuinely like him and trust him. He is soft-spoken, funny, gentle and patient. He explains and shows you what is going on. If you call with questions, he talks to you and answers them honestly. He always takes a conservative approach - trying all other options before whatever option is most invasive. I have now had many cleanings, a couple fillings and two crowns, all with well-controlled pain and mimimum anxiety (for me!). He does everything he can to make you comfortable. His office staff and dental assistant staff are also helpful, sweet and comforting. My husband and kids (his office is very kid friendly) now all see Dr. Benevent and I recommend him to my friends too.

Importance varies from individual to individual. I prefer a certain dental hygienist that was scheduled 6 months prior. I wasn't given notice that there was a change of personnel due to change of familial matters when I came to the routine cleaning.
Excellent dentists, hygienists, and technicians; great family; and friendly staff. No problem with last minute appointments. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, convenient to Anthony's, too!
Outstanding dentist, hygienists, front desk staff - the whole office is excellent. Always timely and professional, curteous, and takes care of any problems you may have quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Dr. Benavent has his staff. You won’t be disappointed.
