Dr. Gantes installed one implant for me. Before he even touched me he ordered a CAT scan, so he could accurately locate the abutment three-dimensionally in my jaw - something very few physicians do. I know he holds a number of patents on the implant process and, along with other academic staff at Loma Linda Medical Center was one of the developers of the procedure. He is a periodontist, and as I've had a history of gum surgery I've been seeing him and his hygienist, Mai, 2X/year ever since he installed that implant. Mai is actually a fully-trained dentist and she is easily the most skilled and thorough hygienist I've ever used - and I'm no spring chicken. When Mai cleans your teeth, she also reviews your own hygiene protocol and then along with Gantes, you all go over your results and any changes recommended to home care. These people are very professional and I highly recommend them.
