I always walked this trail when pregnant, one of my favorites! My dog loves it too
Beautiful in every season. Excellent path, wide enough for bikes and pedestrians.
Love this trail! The creek, trees, wildflowers and of course the animals of the woodlands are always lovely. The trail is nice and wide so bikers and walkers have plenty of room.
Our family LOVES this place. There's never a ton of people on the trails, the trail is wide and paved, often shaded, and beautiful. Our dogs enjoy it, too. Just watch out for cyclists.
I love this trail, except that I would prefer an asphalt surface instead of cement. The trail is mostly shaded, so I'm able to use it to walk and run intervals even on the hottest days. I've been on this trail even on days when it's over 100 degrees. Today it was 95, and I was not the only one out there. Families walk the trail, walkers and runners frequent it, and cyclists love it, too. It's very long, wide, and in good condition. Some parts have a few hills to climb, but there are several access points, so by choosing wisely you can avoid or embrace the hills.
Because of the heat today, I chose to start at the Line Creek Community Center and head south to the Riverside Library. That stretch is very level with only a couple of minor rises, and mostly shaded. I can refill my water bottle at the library if it's open when I get there. If I think it will be closed, then I start from the library and walk north, refilling my water bottle at the Line Creek Community Center, which is almost certain to be open whenever I get there.
Lots of beautiful scenery, including a couple of waterfalls. Today I saw a mallard duck couple and a blue heron. Once I saw a fox, and I've frequently seen groundhogs and deer. Squirrels abound, of course.
