Nice tribute for Jay. Living next to the park and my memories of Jay’s footsteps upon my wooden porch steps to help my family and also his diligent patrol over the park will always live on! He truly cared about every person in Ocean Gate and he would frequently stop the patrol car to talk to the residents. He represented what police officers are really about versus how the media portrays them. RIP Jay.

Nice little playground to you wonderful memorial for a great police officer who really loved the kids. He is sorely missed. But his smile lives on with this park

Jay's park is a great place to take my Grandkids. We have told them how much Jay meant to our neighborhood kids. Officer Marles helped my family when we needed it most. We will never forget him. Being able to reflect while watching the kids have fun is peaceful. There are always seasonal flowers and decor and it's beautiful. Thank you Ocean Gate for keeping Jay's spirit alive in this place we call home.
